Are we allowed to pick up other runner’s pre race packet at Up and Running?

Hi Matt –

Tough to say, really. We will need to park about 1000 cars, which takes time. If you pick your packet up early at Up & Running, that will save you about 10 minutes in the registration tent. I suggest runners err on the conservative side – if the weather is unkind (looks to be great, BTW!), you can always spend the extra time you have in your car. We move runners to the start line ~8:15 – ~8:20.

Hi Julie – You probably want to arrive at least a half hour early. We will need to park nearly a thousand runners — if the conditions are chilly, a warm car is a great place to hang out because the registration tent only has room for those registering & picking up their shirts. The runners move to the start at 9:15 – 9:20.

Yes, absolutely! You will have quite a bit of company on the course – we have lots of walkers (some walkers are faster than the slower runners anyway), other strollers, and no one is in a hurry. Just come join us for a beautiful day.
