The race prizes and door prizes were mostly claimed, except for some of the best: A James Free $500 gift card goes to Anna Dacek – she will pick up at Up & Running. Cathy Shaw won the $100 GFS gift card – and we know how to get it to her. Gene Black won the Cheryl & Company gift basket – he will also pick up at Up & Running.

We have gift certificates for the following First Place finishers (will be available at Up & Running after late Monday): Becky Hoover, Cheryl Fenton, Walter Osborne, and Andy Harp.

If you PREREGISTERED and did not get a shirt – check in with Up & Running – the left-overs are there – hopefully there are enough left over for each claimant. U&R has the preregistration list to check you off.

Congratulations to all who won or placed, and to everyone that joined us for the day.

Thanks to our friend Tom Knickerbocker who delivered another beautiful helicopter flyover (second year in a row). Thanks for lingering overhead, Tom! And, thanks to the Knickerbockers for the Greene County Helicopter Tour, as well as all of the other generous sponsors & contributors.

Early registration + packet pick-up started yesterday afternoon 4-7 @ Up & Running – again today & tomorrow (Thursday/Friday), same times.

Cheryl’s donated 1000 cookies – instead of passing them out after the race as originally planned, it was decided to pass them out at registration/packet pick-up – word has it they are the sweetest ever!

First time ever – Speedy Feet will have clocks for each Harrigan’s mile marker.

This event has 100 volunteers to support you, and lots of moving parts – all seem to be synchronized for now.

Registrations are rolling in at a rate of 25 per day and growing, and we are squarely on track for another 1000+ runner event.

Cheryl’s will be ordering cookies for runners today according to the registrations we have. They will be at the after-party to pass out their cookies, so run fast to be early & secure your sweets for the day.

And, WATCH YOUR E-MAIL next Monday for additional surprise events taking place after the race.

They also donated a fabulous helicopter tour of Green County as a 2011 door prize – we don’t yet know if that will happen again this year but if it does, we’ll let you know right away.

Conditions permitting, our very own Harrigans5k Chopper One may make a return appearance for 2012.
