The Harrigan’s St. Patrick’s Day 5k Charity Run is back for 2012, bigger and better than ever.
Since 2010, we have featured chip-based professional timing by Speedy Feet. Chip-based timing systems are state-of-the-art, and are vastly more accurate with virtually instant race results.
Bagel Cafe will be providing a wide range of delicious bagel varieties.
Harrigan’s will open at 9:00 am to accommodate the runners before & after the race.
Again this year, technical running shirts for the first 150 runners to sign up!!!!
Door prizes will be posted in the registration area while the race is being run, so be sure to check the board AFTER you finish to see if you have won.
Up and Running will award the fastest male runner and the fastest female runner each a pair of new running shoes.
Medals will be awarded for the top three finishers in each category.
Prizes and medals not picked up on race day will be available during the following week at Up and Running, Washington Square Plaza, Centerville (same location as early packet pick-up).
Are racers allowed to park in the lot across the street where Elsa’s is located?
Yes, with the exception of the strip that runs parallel to Marshall Road – the businesses there need for their customers to be able to have parking. Thanks for asking.
How about same day entries?
Race day registration opens at 7:30 am Saturday, March 19.
Great race! First time and I’ll be back again next year. Love the course through the neighborhood and really impressed with the turn out. Nicely done!

I walked last year, but your information this year does not stipulate run/walk. Are you still accommodating walkers this year?

Can the course accommodate jogging strollers? I’m not very fast so I won’t be in the real runners’ ways
Yes, absolutely! You will have quite a bit of company on the course – we have lots of walkers (some walkers are faster than the slower runners anyway), other strollers, and no one is in a hurry. Just come join us for a beautiful day.
